I don’t want to talk about that kiss:Mallika Sherawat

Mallika Sherawat’s gone from a kissing to a hissing spree for her next movie, for which she was in Bangalore last week. Reports of her passionate on-screen kiss with a snake have been all over the news, but Mallika precludes any questions on the subject with a shudder and a curt “Don’t ask”, after which she pauses only to say, “I don’t want to talk about it”.
But having to be intimate with a live snake needs guts, which the actress has proved she has plenty of in the movie. So, what is she scared of ? “Nothing. I am not scared of anything,” she says firmly. But she confesses that she is indeed scared of one thing — her mother’s cooking. Here, her producer Govind Menon chips in, “Her mom starts cooking with half a cup of ghee,” to which Mallika laughingly agrees.
However, the difficult action sequences in the movie did not scare Mallika. “One of my
favourite sequences
is when I have to
climb a pole after I have transformed into a snake,” she says. Besides the thrilling action sequences, this movie will see Mallika in a bolder role. Isn’t she wary of being typecast with this sexy image? “I don’t follow the crowd. If everyone is going right, I go left. All I care about are the fans and the common man buying movie tickets,” she says.
Mallika, who seems to have found a foothold in Hollywood after starring alongside Jackie Chan in The Myth, insists that Bollywood’s home. “But we have a very hypocritical society. There is no nepotism in Hollywood, but here everyone is busy promoting their own families. I am a very honest person, hence I get into a lot of controversies,” she says. As for the rumours that she’s interested in doing Murder 2 — they’re dispelled with a dismissive “No”.
